- Engine — rocker assembly, valves, cylinder head & gasket, camshaft, timing gears & chains, oil pump, pistons, rings, crankshaft, con rods
- Manual & automatic gearbox internals
- Clutch, flywheel and drive train components (age/mileage limits apply)
- Cooling system — water pump, thermostat, radiator and heater matrix
- Fuel and ignition system components
- Braking system (excluding pads, discs and friction surfaces)
- Steering rack, power steering pump and suspension components
- Air conditioning & climate control (up to 50% of the claim limit, max £1,000)

Key terms to know
- Repair authorisation must be obtained from Autoguard before any work begins.
- Repairs must be carried out at a VAT-registered garage or approved repairer.
- Vehicle must be serviced in line with the manufacturer's recommended schedule.
- Wear-and-tear, gradual deterioration, fluid leaks, seals/gaskets and corrosion are excluded unless the optional Wear & Tear cover is added.
- Vehicle must hold a valid MOT, tax and insurance throughout the plan.
- Plans of 13+ months include reimbursement of one Annual Maintenance Inspection per year.
- This plan is a Repair & Maintenance Plan — not an insurance product (so no IPT) — operating under The Motor Ombudsman codes of practice.
- 14-day cooling-off period if the plan no longer meets your needs.
